American Dream DLC dont seem to work in conquest of paradise version of EU4

I don’t see any difference while playing USA if I have American dream DLC on or off in conquest of paradise? All events seem to be generic I don’t see any american dream DLC events ever happening.

It looks like I paid 4€ for dlc that don’t add anything at all to conquest of paradise version of EU 4.

Europa Universalis IV: American Dream DLC adds over 50 new, unique events, 10 themed event pictures, as well as several new unit models to the United States of America.

You're saying you don't get those unit models when you form the USA, for instance? What exact kinds of differences are you checking?

And, if you play without CoP active you then do get those changes?

It doesn’t matter if I have Conquest of Paradise DLC on or off, American dream DLC on or off. I don’t see any American dream dlc events happen while I play USA (in American independence war scenario) all elections are totally generic where I choose president from random bureaucrat, diplomatic or military president. American dream events and historical elections never seem to happen.

I don’t know what differences there should be as I never owned american dream dlc pre-conquet of paradise. I have only generic idea about american dream events from forums and EU4 wiki and I never see any of those happen.

This is tricky part there is button to form USA in national decisions menu but when I start american independese war scenario USA is allready there without pressing the button to form nation. I expected that there are 10-20 events and national choises for USA in american dream dlc but i dont see any of them happening.

I cannot use form USA button as one condition is that USA is not formed allready but when I start american independence war scenario USA is allready USA so button to form USA stay greyed forever I cannot use it to see if unit models chance when i form USA. I dont see any unique events or themed pictures or unit models either. USA works just like generic country without American Dream Dlc in both cases DLC on or off.

American Dream DLC content dont seem to work in CoP version of EU4. Turning CoP DLC off dont help either.

So what you're saying is you don't believe that The American Dream DLC is working at all, regardless of the presence of CoP? Because your thread title seems to be saying it only doesn't work when CoP is present, that's all.

When you load the game with both those DLCs enabled, and go into the Contents menu, do they both show as 'active'?

TAD events are listed in the file ...\Steam\SteamApps\common\Europa Universalis IV\events\USADLC.txt . Yu can see in there what the conditions for them triggering are. For example the first one Congress of the Confederation:

Should on average happen within ~8 years of 1781 if you are the USA. Many of the others depend on that firing first. So are you confident you've met those conditions?

Thats it thanks now I see why american dream events dont happen it has to be year 1781. If you have usa earlier than that those event wont start until year is 1781.
