Sorry for the crosspost - got no action on the VIP board... (Note - Playing VIP, not sure if there's a difference...)

I noticed when the ACW occurred there was a massive prestige loss. Then I wasn't really paying attention when the war was over, but the prestige seemed to come back, but I'm not sure to what level, etc.

What affects this after the war? Is the prestige loss made up for by the reconstruction efforts or something?

What is the net effect?
