Hi i really had an excellent game as the USSR with the MOD TRP for DH 1.05.
I played on the level very hard and some house rules like no control allied troops, no use of support defense and some more rules which makes it very hard as USSR.
I was almost on the brink of defeat. I lost a lot of landarea and i had almost no IC left (so 64 at a moment) Also i was very close of getting the event USSR ask for terms because i already lost Moscow, Leningrad, Rostov, Sevastapol. And they also were close to Stalingrad and Murmansk. Baku was also not far away from the frontline.
I was almost lost hope and then i saw that the AI USA did a D-day in 1943 ! I lost also Murmansk but because USA was held Paris just 1 month before, i was saved from the event trigger Ask for terms. From that moment all nice things took place:
