I'm confused; what's so special about that crossing?

What's the big deal?
I put it there because there is traffic equal to none on that roadSo lovely. Now we just need to see the massive traffic jam that builds up as trains need to pass![]()

Dunno about realistic, I see lots of things that would make it a dangerous crossing in real life.It is a big deal, look how amazing, realistic and beautiful that is
What's with the post straddling along the railroad. Are they used for electric trains? Are they optional or permanent? I'd rather have them off for the main railroad line that come through town. Their fine for elevated electric train for the inner city.
There is no barrier along the pavement. This crossing does not meet safety standards. I'm calling HR and firing you.
You mean the electric catenary? The trains on the line are electric, thus they need a catenary.

It's not a transport simulator so it's simplified. Which is fine. Electric is modern and fits with the setting. Diesel trains are also used IRL but in C:SL it seems like you're set in between a network of other large cities that would be suitable for high speed trains like in the game. There's no option to remove them in game. Are they the only kind of tracks being used for train systems? Or are there other types of tracks that we can use. Can you make a rail yard like CiM2 ?

:happy:It is clear from the OP that this crossing is in Australia. In Australia if you walk into a train it is your fault. It is not up to the Mayor to stop you being a fool.
