Am I without hope until my new graphics card arrives....

My old GeForce 8800 GTX decided to call it the day..permanently a week ago. While waiting for the replacement to arrive a friend lent me an

ATI Radeon X 1050.

When trying to load the game I can see the hourglass turning but when gloved hand shows up nothing more happens. It´s all black....

I suspect that the temporary card is to outdated to cope with CKII, can someone pls confirm this so I don´t have to keep my hopes up (or are

there any clever things I can do to get this to work?).

Any answer either way is appreciated.

I believe the X1050 only supports shader model 2.0. CK2 requires shader model 3.0 in order to run.
