I've done that before actually! I like using king's names in provinces and sometimes explorers because then you remember "Oh yeah, I had this guy who found it once, he was pretty good!"+1 - More Scottish/English/Irish names in the Louisiana and central Canada regions would be cool, I eventually ran out of names naming them myself.
And for debate, what using leader/explorer/conquistador/admiral/heirs/kings/doges/etc for inspiration? Like Rupert's Land for example, otherwise, +1 for native speaker's input. :happy:
I did that for Louisiana as the Dutch, my ruler was named Gaspar so I named it "Gasparsland".
That would be interesting if for places like that, it would take the name of a ruler or whatever. That would probably take quite a bit of work though.
