Am I the only one who feels unity buildings are terrible unless spritualist?

I would definitely like a rebalance of unity and traditions. I think unity should be harder for wide empires and easier for tall. It makes sense from an immersion standpoint, and balance too. I would achieve this by adding back tradition costs for planets and pops, but decreasing the cost for traditions already taken, to compensate and keep the average speed similar. If this was the case, then traditions could be made more powerful. It would act more as an equivalent to technology. In addition to this, I'd like every tree to have perhaps 2 more traditions in them. They could expand the trees' depth, both figuratively, and literally. By that I mean the traditions could be put on the vertical axis instead of making the tree wider.

Focusing on unity without focusing on research seems less optimal now.
No tradition seems that strong now unlike pre 2.2 adaptability. Because of that technocracy seems like the best option to me because it helps with both teching and unity gain.

Technocracy is op tier right now whatever you want tech rush or not.
With 4 Labs, you have 8 scientists, and provide 1x8= 8 Unity, 8x12= 96 research.
With 1 Culture Site and 3 Labs you have 6 scientists and 2 culture worker, provide 3x2 = 6 unity, 6x12 + 3x2 = 78 research.

4 Labs is always better, if not to say much better, than 1 Culture Site + 3 Labs.

Inconclusion, Civics with bonus to raw resources like Mining Guild (direct +1 Minerals) and Technocracy (direct +1 Unity) is now OP in any scale.
