Problem I: the Foci release only the countries owned by the Empire IRL. But If UK conquered any colonies from other countries (like Italy, France, Portugal, Netherlands) before choosing this branch they stay colonised.
Problem II: The Withdraw from Contested Territories focus does NOT give Malta to Italy and Cyprus to either Greece or Turkey although these countries had historical claims on these islands. This focus and Self-Government For the Mediterranean should be mutually exclusive.
Problem III: Contested territories are sometimes retuned to very hostile nations.
Proposed solutions:
- Withdraw from Contested Territories should not instantly return all these states but unlock individual decisions to return them. If multiple countries have a claim (Gibraltar, Hong Kong, Cyprus) UK should be able to choose who gets it.
- Self-Government For the Mediterranean should be bypassed if Malta and Cyprus are returned to existing countries.
- Self-Government For Asia should become the perquisite for Self-Government For Africa.
- All Self-Government foci should be scripted release all releasable countries in the respective continents if UK controls them, even the ones initially owned by other countries.
