Alternative to the comet spam

Here in croatia we just had an earthquake and it gave me an idea.

Now how many comets were there in the middle ages?

And ingame they only affect 1 region for whatever reason.

So why not replace the comet with an earthquake,that way there is valid reason for everyone to freak out and it would be more logical that only a certain region would be affected by it.

Comeon, the comet is a fun event, its kinda more a joke/eatseregg than really a historical event, and that is what i would like it to stay, even tho its super irritating when you get the event, it comes to your mind that, the event are made with love from the greatest developers ever.

I fairness it would be a lot funnier if everyone got the event at once, or at least everyone in a region (the size smaller than continent).
