It was nice to see this AAR return, but from the looks of it not for long I fear. Sweden and their German friends are really giving you a hard time, so I guess it is only a matter of time before Oslo is taken. Still the Norwegian soldiers have fought well so it was a nice show while it lasted

The Norwegian defences hold out, and Oslo is kept in Norwegian hands for the time being.

All remaining forces are sent to Oslo, a desperate last stand against the Facist hordes.

Narvik falls to German forces.

A German attack on Withdrawing Norwegian forces is unsuccesful, buying Norwegian troops a few more days to prepare their defences.

The defence of Oslo is prepared.

And soon put to the test.

An attack on Oslo is once again thwarted, and Norwegian defences are bolstered.

On a more light hearted note, North Africa is back season, and the Italians promptly arrive.

I apologise for the lack of an update this week, I haven't had the time to. Two updates coming tonight to make up for it.

Moscow is endangered by German forces again.

While in the South, Soviet forces almost encircle Kharkov.

Provinces gained by Germany are quickly retaken.

Soviet prospects look greater in the far north, with the baltics being one province away from being surrounded.

Back in Norway yet another battle over Oslo rages.

Norwegian forces are victorius, as Swedish infantry captures Stavenger.

Oslo is completely surrounded.

Soviets launch an offensive in the south, and approach the Romanian border.

Losses on both sides build up, as Axis forces attack again.

Improved infantry division is researched.

Oslo stays in Norwegian hands for now, however, the constant battles are taking their toll on the defensive forces.

Japanese forces land in Darwin.

Oslo is attacked again.

And once again the attack is repelled.

Manstein leads an attack against the dwindling Norwegian defences.

However, Norwegian troops hang on.

Darwin is retaken, and the Japanese invasion is thrown back.

Large numbers of American troops battle over the Philippines.

Another German attack is defeated.

I have managed to lose several screen shots and the save file, so here is the last update, in some form.

An attack by Manstein's forces finally causes Norwegian defences to crumble, months of pressure by joint German-Swedish forces resulted in making an organised defence impossible, this in turn with Germany's more advanced army forced Oslo's defences to surreneder. Several days after the battle Manstein's beleaguered forces marched into Oslo, and Norway was annexed by Sweden.

Nope, only in this game thanks to the swedish producers overpowering Sweden . Im sad that this AAR had to end in such a fashion though, but that's life for ya .

It was a very fine AAR while it lasted so sad to see it end, but still when Sweden joined the Axis that was the beginning of the end so I guess in the end it had to go this way.
