Probably should, or at least claims, like what they'll apparently be doing for the Sudetenland and Austria
They had in HoI3, so I'm rather certain that the answer is yes.
I just hope that they give Denmark cores/claims on Southern Schleswig.

No in Hearts of Iron 3 Alsace-Lorraine/Elsaß-Lothringen is not included as a core Provinces of the German Empire.

It's called Alsace-Lorraine. It's French. Please use it's correct name.

Names are being translated to other languages all the time, calling it Loraine, Lotheringen or some other translation makes no difference

Thus, Italians should be offended if you call it Rome and not Roma, Russians should be offended if you call it Moscow and not Moskva, and so on...

I never wanted to hurt anyone with my comments. In German-speaking countries, the area is just calleds Elsaß-Lothringen and the French Alsace-Lorraine. Each country has different names for certain territories. Leeuw have some good examples.

Elsass-Lothringen has a vast german history, denying that would be as stupid as saying it rightfully belongs to Germany today.
It was part of East Francia/HRE since the 10. Century, gradually assimilated into the French Kingdom in the 17./18. Century, acknowledged as part of France after 1815, conquered by the Germans in 1871, handed back to France in 1918, occupied in 1940, and since 1945 is undoubtfully a part of France.
We could call it Elsass-Lorraine or Alsace-Lothringen
At least until 1918 it was culturally and language-wise neither fully french nor fully german. Don't be offended by a translation, especially not if the translation is a historically solid and wide used term without any negative implications.
If you however insist on your position, I hope you call a certain neighbouring territory Saarland, and not Sarre by that logic.

Not the same at all. This is an English language forum, and the accepted anglicisation is Rome etc. And it doesn't imply anything. But the use of the German name in the context of Alsace-Lorraine seems to be used by some people who want to make a political point.
Eight people disagreed with my statement that Alsace-Lorraine is French. What does that tell you
