ok, here is a big chance for one of you out there!
If you are experienced coding, bugs, bug-finding etc. we in the MDS team (mostly myself) are looking for you!
I'm gonna make you an offer you can't refuse!

OK, here's the deal. As we are a very very small team and all of us are busy coding and living our lives, we don't have time to run out the whole 17 year cycle over and over again to check for major bugs. We need a guy that can try out the mod and help finding the worst bugs.

The guy (or girl) has to know how to code and find bugs so that I'm not stuck checking events and oobs for the rest of my life.

Sounds good? OK. Start volunteering!
(Now I hope I don't get half the forum on my tale.)

PS. The position carries with it certain responsibility and discretion.

Well, i've done coding with Victoria a lot more than I have HOI, but i'm pretty certain of how the basics work, and seeing i'm pretty deep in how Victoria and HOI work i'll take a look at the 17 year cycle for ya.

Can I be an alpha? I have made some contributions to the project before and I'm, well, just plain intrested in beign an alpha tester.

I'm not all that good at coding, but my tampering with Vicky has taugth me how to find bugs, even when they occasionaly aren't all that obvious.

We want to do some testing and make sure it's playable before we release something to the public. We don't want France randomly declaring war or common CTDs in our public alpha

Normally this testing is done internally, but because we are few, we're bringing in someone into the team to specifically help Maggern.

I would like to apply to be an alpha tester for 'the Modern Day Senario'.
I have past experience of alpha and beta testing. I was a beta tester for cossacks (CDV) and the Amercain Conquest (again CDV).
I am also a flag and shield moder for HoI with my own sites. I am a beta tester and now a member of the cold war team
(well administrator for the site).
I feel that I can test this alpha to its full potential and see if there are any mistakes that your team have missed or any code mismatches etc..

Finally;
A. I love Heats of Iron and would be honoured to test the alpha for you
B. I am always on the forum and would be able to give daily updates onn how i am getting on.

OK, just to say it, it was hard to pick one out as most of the latter volunteers all seemed to have what we were looking for.
But one had to be picked, so Nerfix had his luck with him.

If we all work hard, the alpha release may be expected at the end of the week.
