Almost March and still no release date?

Sometimes i get the feeling, that the discussion goes into a pro and contra early release sort of thing^^. But on the other hand i think that the "pro" and "contra" sides are talking into different directions

One one side we have the guys complaining about the endless seeming development. On the other side the ones who defend the paradox decicion to take their time and make the game better. But one must not forget, that the "complainers" if u can call them that way...are mostly not complaining about taking time to create a good game but simply about the early announcement and the delays. If we were not told that the game was to come out in 2015 maybe, then there would be less complainments.
So the "mistake", if u want to call it that way, was to tell people too early about HOI4 and give them hopes for an soon arrival of this. Do we really have to discuss this release topics over and over again? They are releasing the game soon or later. In the remaining time left go play sth else, waiting without doing anything seems endless ;D one should know that

I would liek this, then I can still focus on my exams (probably not because I'll be on stellaris addiction by then x))
think i'll buy it around june 2017 or 2018
worked fine for hoi3 too , i have all the dlc's+ the game cheaper than the original release - and a way more complete game that way anyway. .still enjoying it after 750+ hrs in just a few months time -bug- and crashfree game, except for the wierd hungarian troop skins for which there was a fix easy to find
some people are getting too old to wait for games and keep hyped up we just pick it up later and do something else fun meanwhile (while we still can ^^)

With the UEFA Euro 2016 starting June 10th. Wouldn't be the brightest release date.6th of June
i think they will announce the release after the world war wednesday is finished, i have heard rumours that the game was planned for release some time in Q1 or Q2.

Move the computer nearer to the TV (or the TV closer to the computer) and problem solved!
TBH I dont think they have a clue yet when they will announce, its still wait and see...
I'm wondering if they already picked up their 10 people from the old program for signing up 20 people to get a beta invite or not yet.
Having lived through the debacle of Total War Rome II I could not disagree with you more. Personally, I am quite willing to wait - so long as, when the game is finally released, it's not broken.
It does appear that the release is only a few months away now though. We've waited this long. Another few months shouldn't be that terrible surely?

I expect a release date very soon, no reason for them not to announce now that they are well into Beta and it must be a well tested game by now if not the most tested game in their history. If all they are doing is tinkering with the AI they could easily give a release date.
There is no guarentee of this, regardless of how long the game takes to come to market...
What would make you come to that conclusion?

We'll see. If they dont release by June the Swedish summer holiday will add a month delay to the release. With that being said im sure they are working hard to try and get it out before then.
