Things like this are pretty interesting, kinda shows the separation between the marketing and development...the advertising was ramping up for a while, think the "http://www.heartsofiron4.com/" "choose your side and sign up campaign". Marketing seemed to be expecting a SOON(tm) release from the devs for a while there, 2014-mid 2015...
Obviously that all petered out and got put on hold because of the delays. Once we see Paradox start to ratchet up the advertising, press coverage, and marketing, we can expect a release, or, at minimum, a release announcement soon thereafter... They aren't going to release HOI4 without a TON of fanfare and hype building.
Until we see that...I guess I'll just be reading and playing Stellaris (which is apparently right around the corner; see: the slowly building press hype for Stellaris...)

Move the computer nearer to the TV (or the TV closer to the computer) and problem solved!
People always talk about wanting to wait for a "good" game....so rather then playing a buggy game they prefer to sit here for 2 years making pointless discussions about a game we know little about? I dont see it. We know the game will have issues when it comes out, they always do. There will be patches and updates yada yada yada. And thats when they were working with the same essential game, now its a totally new game, expect it to have issues. Either way its not worth waiting two years to have the game "better", two years means it better be mindblowing. We are gamers, we play games, good, bad, buggy or otherwise. Hell they could have updated HOI3 for us while we waited...
so long as, when the game is finally released, it's not broken.
It does appear that the release is only a few months away now though
What would make you come to that conclusion?
