Don't worry, I hacked into paradox's RAM and found this incredible top secret information:
HOI4 confirmed to release next month.

This is totally wrong, that devs (sorry to say this truth) but show 'fuck' to us, customers.
What's even more interesting it also says they are offering the uncut game which means no censorship.. (e.g. covering up Adolf Hitler portrait). Isnt that illegal in Germany to trade uncensored games/media within Germany?
No it's already been stated that Adolf Hitler will be a silhouette for his portrait in the Censored version of HoI IV.They had portraits of all the nazi leadership in HoI3 -- think the issue is with swastikas, etc.

The bad thing is, that game fiest release date was Q1 2015. Then delayed to Q2 2015. Then to "when will be done". Then 'maybe' to Q1 2016 (according to wiki).
So this game has at last 3 delays.. and still no any REAL information about date (Q1-Q4).
They don't need (?!) to tell in which day game will be out, but AT LEAST give us in which Q.

As wel as acting a bit obnoxious, you appear to contradict yourself. You want, nay, demand they set a release date (even though they themselves probably don't know when it'll release), yet you also don't want any delays. Unless they force themselves to the release date as a deadline (which is never ever a good thing), there is no way of them knowing if there will be any unexpected delays, and therefore they cannot set any definite release date until they're very close to completion (a month or so). Basically paradox cant really win either way in your eyes. If they give a release date they're just repeating the same mistake they made twice before. If they don't, "that devs but show 'fuck' to us, customers".The bad thing is, that game fiest release date was Q1 2015. Then delayed to Q2 2015. Then to "when will be done". Umm... wouldn't it be a "fuck the customer" to release a game that wasn't ready and suffered from a bunch of known bugs?
You're weird, man.
Exactly. An impatient customer will almost certainly immediately stop complaining and likely forget they were ever irritated once a late game is released. But a customer (as well as reviewers) who expects a quality product, will likely never forget if a game is released and isn't up to standards. It's impossible to make people happy. You have people that want a thing and for it to be perfect but complain it takes so long to develope. Then you have people that want a thing and want it now but complain about how imperfect it is. But you have to keep in mind, what is worse. Pissing people off because it took to long to make a perfect object or pissing people off that purchased an imperfect product? The biggest difference is that when you buy something, you expect it to be perfect regardless of how long it took to make. I guarantee that anyone that complains about the lack of a release date or how long it will stay in beta will disappear the moment the game is released.
Correct me if I'm wrong but the censorship also applies to Austria and I think Poland?Eh, the censored version is for Germany right?
I'd be a bit miffed having a censored version in the UK.
Correct me if I'm wrong but the censorship also applies to Austria and I think Poland?
UK will get the normal EU version which is uncensored.
Ah I see, Austria makes sense but Poland? Never expected that.

Canada is also censored... It's a bit extreme.
I was bored...
One year later
Releasing a buggy game that doesnt work very well for the sake of getting it into the hands of fans sooner. Would be bad for paradox's reputation and would kill the possibility of attracting new players to the series. Some of us hardcore fans would enjoy playing it while waiting for it to be fixed, just like happened with HOI3. But it would be a bad idea for paradox's sake.People always talk about wanting to wait for a "good" game....so rather then playing a buggy game they prefer to sit here for 2 years making pointless discussions about a game we know little about? I dont see it. We know the game will have issues when it comes out, they always do. There will be patches and updates yada yada yada. And thats when they were working with the same essential game, now its a totally new game, expect it to have issues. Either way its not worth waiting two years to have the game "better", two years means it better be mindblowing. We are gamers, we play games, good, bad, buggy or otherwise. Hell they could have updated HOI3 for us while we waited...
