Currently as far as i know you can only press claims from people in your court or which are your vassal. But you cant invite a landed person to your court, so you cant press their claims.

This limits drastically the ability to help landed members of your dynasty that are not your vassal.

Why you want to do this?
Because you want to spread your dynasty to get more dynasty points. You wont get any if he is in your Kingdom. In case he is in the same house you can call him also into a war without any cost. This is much better then a vasal or even an ally since you have the full army and no prestige cost.

And why would any sane medieval ruler press a claim for somebody, who is not serving him?
Good question!

I didn't ask why CK3 ruler would want to press such a claim.
I asked, why any SANE MEDIEVAL RULER would.

I asked, why any SANE MEDIEVAL RULER would.
Didnt rulers often support claims of people they like (even more if they are related to them) to get more influence / allies? For sure its great to have an neighbor that is in debt to you and related to your family. Why you wont get the throne for you instead? Because you may not have a claim, so you may not bring enough troops and influenceful people (vassals) together to bring you on the throne, but you may get enough together to bring some one else on the throne that has a claim. Also fellow rulers and the people of the kingdom will most likely not accept your conquest much if you have no rightful claim.

If i remember right for example in the rose war, some relatives which ruled some part of France at that time tried to help to bring one claimant they supported to the Englisch throne. I did not look up the details why they supported i think it was it was because the other ruler was one from the split of house...

Support and ally in his/her claim - sure. Modeled in game, where you are allied with a landed claimant, he/she goes to war and you offer to join in said war or get a call to arms and accept.

Yea, maybe it would be fine if you can inform the AI that you would help to get the title. Even if the AI would consider it more often going to war with you as strong ally it might be fine. But for now i often cannot help my relatives to get the title, since they are stuck with a small piece of land and even with me as strong ally they would not go to war to get the title. Some more influence here would be nice to have. I think most easiest would be to allow to press claims for your dynasty / related to your dynasty and then allow the claimant to join if he is landed. So you have the initiative on your side and dont need to wait for an AI to press claims.

Actually, the game doesn't do that. You can use the console and do almost anything you want to help your dynasty members. Better yet, you can even save yourself all of the work and use one command to get all of the dynasty perks.
