I am right now trying to create Mass Effect's Hanar race but their home system is never actually named in any of the games or other canon (insofar as I can find out), so I'm quite happy to use one of Stellaris' myriad system names for their star. However, you currently have to give a name for your starting system when creating a race. This could easily be resolved by placing a dice button next to the text box for random system name generation.
