Currently there's no way to change the religion of a colonial nation, so if you form one while you're still Catholic and then decide to convert when the Reformation hits it will hate you forever. Vassals can be converted this way and it seems like an oversight that colonial nations don't get this feature.

I've never had any troubles with my CNs being filthy heretics, but it is true that it bugs me that I can't impose my own faith on my subjects. I think it should be possible to forcibly convert your CNs! Good suggestion.
