Allow DLC Features to be Toggled in the Menu

Hello everyone,

I often have pet peeves about certain DLC only features when an expansion is released, but enjoy using other content in the same expansion. For example, I find Minority Expulsion from Golden Century annoying in the hands of the AI, but quite like the mission trees added, as well as Orders. Of course, there are many other examples throughout the game.

I would like the ability to select DLC features when setting up a game. I can't imagine this would have a huge impact on ironman games and would allow players to customise the game as they like it, without foregoing achievements. I am not sure to what extent this could be implemented, especially as many features from earlier expansions feel like base features at this point, but I do think this would be a nice feature for recent and upcoming DLC, as well as for some of the more controversial additions in the game.

this can be done in ck2 and its been requested for this game, but the developers have already said they wouldn't do something similar for eu4

What a shame... Even if not in the immediate future, I think this would be a nice touch later on!

To be more precise, this is something that Johan does not want in his games and given how EU4 is primarily his thing, the option will never be added to EU4.

The other Paradox games are expanding upon the idea of having broad options selection on startup.

It also replaces great settlement chance bonus from Exploration ideas with cost reduction for expelling minorities which is much less useful

This, I still haven't bought Leviathan and barely played 1.31 XD Shame it's all or nothing with the content.
