As above. Taking a gun to the Medieval Europe and claims yourself descent of a famous person doesn't sound so ridiculous, I think. Please make it possible, even that means a fair amount of point is needed.

But wouldn't allowing you to edit historical characters be a better method of establishing decent?
Currently you can't edit a historical character. If you select a character and press edit, you will replace them with a new one from a new dynasty.
Would it be difficult to simply copy name, stats and traits from the generated character onto the historical one?

Sure, this wouldn't be as customizable solution where you could pick any bloodline, but it would allow you to play with historical characters/dynasties without having to rely on the preset / random characters..
