So I'm playing as Finland and started a war of independency vs Sweden. I then made an alliance with Denmark and sent them a Call to arms which they accepted.
Now we have destroyed Sweden's armies and occupied most of their provinces. Just when I was in the process of occupying the last remaining provinces they still have, I got told that Denmark have offered White Peace to Sweden, which Sweden has accepted. This led to my war being settled aswell. Now this is absolutely ridiculous for the following reasons:
1) Why on EARTH would Denmark want to offer a White Peace when Sweden is practically beaten completely (and none of their allies form a threat against us)
2) I have beaten Sweden (with the help of my allies), and now I don't even get the independency? This is highly illogical, just makes no sense whatsoever. I mean I know that it technically happens because of the White Peace, but that just makes 1) more ridiculous.
3) I am the war leader. It says (before they made the peace): "Finland is the war leader and can negotiate for the whole alliance". It does NOT say that for Denmark. So why can Denmark - apparently - negotiate for the whole alliance aswell? Is that text just meaningless, seeing as anyone can do it anyway? Or is this merely a game-breaking BUG? I mean it certainly breaks my current game with Finland.
Screeenshots included:
Here it says I am the war leader etc:
Yet this is what happens, ruining this save game entirely:
