K so I played USCA and had a great time with my first game of Victoria 2!
I wanted to expand both north and south and Colombia was allied with Mexico, combined they were to strong (since USA had not taken it's provinces from Mexico)
So I allied with USA to be able to keep the Mexicans busy while I took what I wanted from Colombia. So I declared war on Colombia and had Antioquia as war goal, however Mexico didn't join the war and USA became the Leader in the war. I took big parts of Colombia and USA landed and took one province in the north of the Antioquian state.
Then USA peaced with Colombia and took Cauca for themselves. But not Antioquia for me! And I got the Infamy anyways.
So here's the questions;
Shouldn't I have a choice giving up leadership?
Why did they become the leader in the war vs. one country that isn't strong at all?
Why didn't they give me what I wanted?
Will this happen every time I have an ally that is strong?
Isn't this a very good exploit for a human player?
Does this work as intended?
BTW I want to thank Paradox for creating a otherwise great game!
