Japan wont just give their land to you. And why would you make a deal with an enemy who has and always will be eyeing up you land. When our marinies land on Japan proper and drag the emperor out of his palace I promise, all former Japanes holdings on China will go to you.

Im sorry do say this but Germany will never choose China over Japan. Even if you join the axis then youd have do fight Japan alone and even if you somehow win youd be facing the allies as well. This can all be avoided by joining the allies. Youll get lendlease and if need expeditionary forces you can get them. On top of all that, joinig the allies will mean you dont have do worry about Japanese marines landing behind your lines and about enemy bombers destroing your ground troops. Your safty will be guaranteed by The US navy and airforce. if you join us I can put my planes on your airfields, my boats in your ports. We can end Japan quicly like this. I promtly urge you to consider the possibilities in front of you.

Germany has interrest in china to the point where they have offered almost the same as you said. japan will not declare war, and germany will offer support.

A Second letter to Ambassador Cheese
I fully understand the rich and long history of China, that is one of the reasons I see much to gain by alling you, I am just afraid that you start to see saefty by alling Germany.
I undersant your decision not to fully support one party over the other , but even if you dont become a full allied member then youll still get support from the US. So i ask you not to join the Axis as then ill shed a tear at the prospect of fighting the Chinese. Whatever decision you reach, i urge you do consider all of them very carefully.

Americans cannot join the war before 1941, its in the rules. To be honest, I have previously stated that taking Spain is actually more important than holding France, since if Spain opens another front in the middle of the war, French position is undefensible. If we however, occupy Spain but Grand Baguette collapses, the mountain ranges of Spain will give us a more defensible position, and a smaller front, as well as a fallback position for French troops. This way, we loose territory, but French army, navy and airforce is kept in the war...
My point is, Spain can be France 2.0 temporarily, but if they are ignored it is game over for French troops which will get surrounded and surrendder.
Is there something I am missing ?
1-Smash, Spain has a higher priority than France, in my opinion, but that is up to debate. I have elaborated earlier.
2-For Spain, a couple of tank divisions, a few more motorized, and the rest is specialized and normal infantry.
3- ANZAC will keep their own command, since they get their own frontline. However, if they so prefer, New Zealand and Canada can give expeditionary force to Australian generals or the like. (independent ANZAC will be more fun
)4- This is the thrust that is most realistic to get bogged down, but is it realistic that operation Liberty Prime lasts longer than a month ?(this is how long it is said units can survive without supplies)

I was under the impression that Spain is Axis from the start, no?
I though that they proclaimed neutrality because they saw us eyeing Spain but you are a completely new player on the field, which I missed. Now in all seriousness, if you keep your alignment far enough away from Axis, we can guarantee your neutrality(we also game-mechanically can't declare war on you).
With that in mind, the nation of Spain has great potential economic benefits in staying neutral and trading with the allies.

Very well. As long as your leanings are far enough away from fascism, you will be safe from Allied invasions. In time, I am certain that it will become obvious that maintaining good relations with the Allies is in your best interests. After all, South America has some rebel axis nations for re-colonization

Is it possible then, for Chechoslovakia to focus its resources into researching and building paratroopers and transport planes, to be flown through communist territory into northern Africa?

I was thinking about it too, but is it possible to move my units into Allied territory? And if so, when they will start occupy me what happens? I will lost national unity so i could just be anexed and my units would perish? Or i could continue to fight with my units but i wouldnt have any manpower. There are many questions.
My personal opinion is that you try do hold out as long as you can and then swtitch nations.
This is a question only devs can answer, though in HOI 3 if you become a Government in Exile there was a good chance your troops stationed in allied land would continue fighting. Like If I ocuppy Italy as an allies member, they would still have divisions active in Germany...
We now have a South Africa player. I suggest he focus on the Belgian colonies in Africa.

Dear Spanish representative,
you have to understand that in case you send one member of your party and he openly supports Axis that there will be some steps taken. However if you want to declare neutrality that is something completely different and no hostile actions will be planned.
However you should be carefull with declarations by representatives of your country. Lets say Britain will declare that they are planning to subdue their former colonies then ofcourse USA will be threatened and same applies when YOUR own representative when they declares allegiance to Axis and plan to join them which means they will attack France eventually. All countries will plan countermeasuers so instead of being horrified by our plans put one and one together and dont declare allegiance where there is none.
I strongly recommend placing person who declared alleagiance to Axis to mental hospital, it is most fitting place for all leaders of Axis nations.
