Alliances: too many dishonoring scums?

In my Venice game, I found alliances to be too unreliable: both for me and others, nations would dishonor calls more often than they would honor them. Alliances kind of lose their value if you cannot count on them, imo. How about instead making the AI less likely to accept an alliance offer and more likely to honor calls from alliance partners?

The problem is the "threatened" attitude, AIs with that attitude will ally with you but won't honor your calls, in a way they just see the alliances as a nifty non-agression-pact and exploit you ;)

I'm not sure with this should be changed though, maybe it should just be clearer in the diplomacy screen when you are make an "alliance" with a nation that is threatened by you.

When you have Bavaria as your ally and you are DOWed by Austria, Bohemia, Hungary and their mothers then don't count that they'll die for you.

Well that's kind of justified. They'd have to travel around France and the Iberia to even help you. I don't think their naval range even covers that far.

When you have Bavaria as your ally and you are DOWed by Austria, Bohemia, Hungary and their mothers then don't count that they'll die for you.

Ironically, Bavaria was the only nation that *didn't* dishonor. :p
