I am new to CK 2, so maybe I am just missing something simple. Tried searching but find nothing. So the question is: Why is the rum, ehm alliance gone?
For some reason, some of my allies have dissappeared from my list of allies. But I am shown as their ally on their list of allies. So I cant call them to my wars (tested), but they propably can call me.(?) Noticed it with duke of Saxony and duke of Holstein.
I have one theory, looks like it happened after my landless half-brother inherited county of Braunswick. As my (half)brother, he gets almost the same alliances as me. But in case of Holstein and Saxony, he is closer relative to those dukes than me. Could he somehow "take those alliances from me"? See screenshots.
I am using CK2+but I believe it has nothing to do with the mod, so I am asking here.

This hurts to ask but...did you scroll down in your Allies list?

If no, try it.
If yes, then I have no idea and am sorry for thinking you would not think of something so obvious.

Yes, I did. No problem :)

Fortunately I found older save, when they were my allies and my brother was landless. So I did some tests. Looks like it is really caused by my brother getting land. After he become count of Braunswick, my alliance with Holstein is gone (i. e. on my side, duke of Holstein still counts me as his ally). Though alliance with Saxony which also dissappeared before is still there.

There is some issues with allies in the current game. You should report this to the bug report sub-forum with a save of the issue.
I am playing with CK2Plus, can I report it there anyway?

I'm not sure but did you use his daughters to get the alliances or ,if it is your half-brother, your half-sisters? this could cause the alliances to be taken away from you because he is now that he is alnded the controller of the woman that made the alliance possible.

After reading your post, I realized that first alliance is technically half-brother s alliance, because he is married to daughter of that duke. So after he left my court...
Also found out what caused disappearing of the second alliance. Alliance was created by matrilinear marriage of my landless bastard half brother. (my previous ruler i.e. my father, had 6 children with 1. wife, 5 with 2. wife and 2 bastards ) So he moved to her fathers court, after some time he granted him barony, which caused alliance disappearing.
But alliances should stay anyway, because they are my siblings, or not?
