3) Add a couple of events and change the techtree a little bit.
Am I allowed to do that, or are there reservations?

I'll take care of it, I know what's the problem.What about them needs to be fixed?

I played two games as Russia and it was really interesting. I will definitely play a few more games.
I made some notes during these games:
Questions:
I didn't find any events to get the Armenian and Turkestan provinces as Russian cores. Is this WAD?
As Russia my belligerence skyrockets due to the event choices I made. I paid no heed to it and was at 160 in Feb 1939. This is maybe a bit too much.
Errors:
Event 750088 Ultimatum to the cossacks doesn't check whether you are already at war with them.
event 750007 Patriarch's Demands: Minor typo: stte instead of state
event 740073 choice c: Head of Government is changed twice:
command = { type = headofgovernment which = 4159 }
command = { type = headofgovernment which = 4160 }
event 750019 the autocracy choice b: Head of Government is changed twice:
command = { type = headofgovernment which = 4159 }
command = { type = headofgovernment which = 4160 }
events 750096 and all other "Faith and Nation" events: the description text is cut off after "A loose organisation calling itself"
This is probably because there are two " in the text.
OOB: Air-leader Alksnis, Belov, Gerasimov, Kopets, Smushkevich and Kharlarmov are listed twice
Navy Admirals Drozd, Dushenov, Galler, Kireev are listed twice
Some army leaders too, I didn't check.
Setup Ideas:
- All the light Great war artillery at the start of the scenario could be heavy artillery, so you could at least think about keeping them.
- Russia should have at least the Great War ships researched. if they don't habe the techs for game balance reasons you could instead make the naval tech team worse.

Uhm... Maybe because they start without half of their former territory?Why does Russia start out with such low IC?

Two things need to be kept in mind.Faeelin said:Except Russia had the civil war OTL, as well; and Russia's open to foreign investment in a way that OTL's Soviet Union was not.
NikkTheTrick said:Two things need to be kept in mind.
First, USSR embarked upon MASSIVE industrialization, throwing human lives left and right. Russia in this mod was way more concerned with keeping stability.
Second, foreign trade might encourage Russia to focus on agriculture. Since IC reflects nation's ability to produce rifles, tanks, airplanec, etc - focusing on what makes money might result in lower IC. Just look at US: even though theirt production was WAY greater than that of USSR, they still start with only slightly more IC.
