So I recently took my computer in to get fixed and they basically just reset the damned thing, so I had to reinstall EU4 and for some reason all of the graphics are just... misaligned and wrong. Let me just just share some screen shots here.
Now when I first installed it everything started off looking normal:
The opening screen was... off.
At this point I had several mods on including Extended Timeline, to explain the next several images, but it led to some especially wonky results. Notice the misaligned flags.
Trying to actually load the game led to this completely fubar situatuion:
There's a huge black bar running down the map, the mist is covered in coutnry names, and the one visible spot is Eastern Europe (way far from where I'm actually playing) but shows on the mini-map as being a misplaced Europe.
I'm not sure if it's super visible here but the notification and diplomacy icons are all misaligned too.
The map issue was mostly gone at later dates...

Also, after trying to play once even the initial loadup screen gets messed up
I unsubscribed from all my mods, deleted the game and all files and re-installed but I continued to get the same problems as before. Tried doing this several times, tried in full screen mode, window mode, window full screen mode, tried mucking about with the resolution on my monitor and in the settings file and nothing has helped or even affected the issue.
Any ideas what's going on?
