I think that they're real he posted a screenshot that showed 60k Frenchmen going against 100k Germans.
However I want to know what that tiny yellow country is between Austria-Hungary, Albania, and Serbia?![]()

Does anybody know what the "irregulars" that appear on the map are?
Are they the remnants of defeated armies, or guerrilla forces made out of the population?

IMO, Sytass ought to force Russia to accept peace by giving away Austrian Galicia in its' entirety. Assuming he's the "alliance leader", I'd guess he could do that. He also should take steps to bring Romania and Bulgaria into his alliance. Looking at it, the Austrian border with Romania is totally unprotected. Once he's done with the Serbs, he could attempt to force the Greeks into allying with him, thus securing his southern flank. Once that is done, Ottomans will be in a secure position to play a role of distractor for the Entente.
Also, why don't we have any updates on the Balkan front and the colonial battlefields?

But if he's pursuing historical German war aims he wants to at least annex Russian Poland.

Surely making France an economic vassal is more valuable?

It seems Germany is still going to be in a bind as he does not have sufficient numbers to overcome both east and west fronts. Unless a miracle happens, if Germany is still stalemated in 1916, it is in trouble after America enters the war! The 1914 scenario seems to be a real hard play situation for the kaiser. In the grand campaign, I would have preferred to have a full mobilization by three months or more on the allies and hit at least with a 4-1 superiority in every attack. The east can wait and you can hold a static line against the Russians and let them grind with the Austrians for a bit.

Russia is obviously going to be a far greater threat to Germany in the future than France, especially once it is fully industrialized. Better to cripple Russia now or at least move the border east then wait for Russia to initiate conflict on it's own terms. At least that's what would be my thinking if I was playing the Germans.
