I really like this AAR. Just bit disagree with peace resolutions...

Somebody said that Turkey got nothing but Sinay. That isn't correct. They got half of Caucasus as well. Not bad imo, but I think that they should also have whole Arabia as well (at least opponents' parts) and maybe whole Cauacasus upto Caspian sea.

Austria got what they wanted in Serbia plus sattelite Ukraine. As was mentioned, it's hard to know exactly if they 'wanted' colonies in Africa, but...

Ultimate winner is, of course, Germany, but probably that's expected.

(sic)

rereading the installments in which the peaces were concluded I really only see the Turks getting the Sinia. They did get deep into the Caucasus in their campaigns, as seen in the screenshot of 1916, but it appears to me that they didn't get any territory from the Russians. Then again I could be going senile. ;)

The light blue on the western coast is Liberia and the dark blue must still be French.. Abu Dhabi, Madasgascar.. and I forget what the Southwest coast colony is.

I may be wrong, but I think it's Liberia (independent).

Would the U.S. have made a difference? I think so. Had they commited a few landings like the British, only in different theaters, and with more, drawing troops there, matters would have been prolonged, if not tipped in the Allies' favor. Had the joined during the time when A-H was getting her butt kicked, I might have lost that ally.

IEX: Didn't get to land in the U.S. this time. ;)

I'd like to anwer more questions, but then again, I also am under NDA still, so I have to be a bit careful. :)

Okey. Thanks..

Actually, I hoped it was Sweden. Did they gain any territory during the war, like in Finland?

sytass, great job! im amazed at the depth that VIC goes to. its like (EU2+HOI)^2=VICTORIA

as for sweden getting so many points, they were on the winning side, werent they? :D

could you choose different peace options at versaille or is there one set one?

its funny that in your parallel history, all important german events take place in versaille :D maybe you should annex it ;)

I know that, but I can't imagine them doing as much fighting with their limited manpower, so thats why I was wondering if they somehow gained more points simply by being in alliance with Germany.

Well, the Russians had three fronts to fight at, and the Swedes did actually take at least two territories. And Patric actually said that you can win without fighting a single battle during the whole game ;)

And Belize, heh. I'm not sure which is funnier. Seriously I could only see the British signing Gibraltar away in a peace treaty if Germany had all of the british isles occupied for a few years.

I read through some of the post and do not see why so many think Britain landing it's army behind German lines was a bad idea.

You are right, IF the French had capitalized on this landing it might not have turned out to be such a disaster. I for one wasn't surprised that they didn't since I don't consider the AI robust enough to be able to pull off combined movements like that with precision. Instead it ended the British presence on the Western Front, which was very disappointing and made it much easier for Sytass.

I still hope something is implemented so that the majority of British forces (and American, when they join the war) that are fighting on the Western Front are sent as expeditionary forces under French command. I know this isn't historical, but it would better portray that those forces were used along with the French directly on the front, and the fact that even under seperate command there was some coherence in their movements. The French can't afford to have the British and Americans throwing their forces away in behind the lines invasions.

I think it is funny that he added that little bit about Italy joining the war to try to get a couple pieces of land, and yet they did not get Corsica, Tunis, and probably not Savoy either:D Also I doubt making Austria a colonial nation was half of any game made treaty in an event, although it might have been..........
