This thread is intended for any and all comments on my beta AAR, All quiet on the Western Front, played as Germany in the 1914 scenario.

Please bear in mind that this is played with the beta version of Vic (through a couple of beta patches, actually), so some things may differ from the final game, but it should give a good impression on warfare in Vic.

I intend to play this one through to the end of the war, for good or bad.

Any and all criticism (if brough in a quiet and polit manner) is of course very welcome.

Look at where the frontlines are in the last screen shot. A year and a half of war and they've not moved that much in the west. That's trench warfare, fighting for each bit of ground.

Yeah, but the western front is almost (dare I say it?) historical in the give and take of ground.

The Eastern Front was far more fluid.

Wonderful AAR. WWI looks great, and I'm glad the scenario starts in August 1914.

And I love the political map! Countries are so big, as far as number of provinces goes. I would love one of the situation in 1914 with fog of war turned off, suitable for wallpaper, if your AAR allows.

Seriously, I love the style of your AAR. The war in the East is shocking, to say the least. The Russians aren't playing games with this war. Sweden was an interesting ally to pick up, you think they will contribute with any real power? Any other potential allies in the wings?
