2. Bihac republik Event

3. Add two events for Nedic republik and NDH got some stationary units in order to prevent annexion.(In case that all troops go to eastern front)

4. Alternate scenario 1943 Invasion of Balkans, instead of Italy.

5.Greek Civil War new battle scenario, but put in all regular scenarios also.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_Civil_War

6. Spain go to Axis side but got Morocco (event possibility.)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spain_in_World_War_II
Initially, Spain favoured — or was pressured by — the then-victorious Axis Powers. Apart from ideology, Spain had a debt to Germany of $212 million for supplies of matériel during the Civil War. Indeed, in June 1940, after the defeat of France, the Spanish Ambassador to Berlin had presented a memorandum in which Franco declared he was "ready under certain conditions to enter the war on the side of Germany and Italy".
At first, the German leader, Adolf Hitler, did not encourage Franco's offer, as the German leadership was convinced of eventual victory. Later on, in September, when Britain had demonstrated its resilience, Hitler was more receptive to Spanish approaches and promised help in return for its active intervention. This had become part of a strategy to forestall Allied intervention in north-west Africa. Hitler promised that "Germany would do everything in its power to help Spain" and would recognise Spanish claims to French territory in Morocco, in exchange for a share of Moroccan raw materials. Franco responded warmly, but without any firm commitment.
Falangist media[citation needed] agitated for irredentism, claiming for Spain the French Navarre, French Basque Country and Roussillon (French Catalonia) as well.[3][4]

7.Spain sent volunters to Leningrad and one air blue division event.
Spanish volunteers in Axis service
Although the Spanish State remained neutral throughout World War II, it was ideologically aligned with Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy. There was also a "debt" for the help that these regimes had given to the military uprising. When Germany invaded the Soviet Union, Franco, pressured by the Germans, offered Spanish manpower to help in civilian warwork and military volunteers to fight against the allies. This was accepted by Hitler and, within two weeks, there were more than enough volunteers to form a division — the Blue Division or División Azul under Agustín Muñoz Grandes — including an air force squadron — the Blue Squadron. The Blue Division trained in Germany and served, with distinction, in the Siege of Leningrad, notably at the Battle of Krasny Bor, where General Infantes 6,000 Spanish troops threw back some 30,000 Soviet troops. In October 1943, under severe Allied diplomatic pressure, the Blue Division was ordered home leaving a token force until March 1944. In all, about 45,000 Spanish served on the Eastern Front, mostly committed volunteers, and around 4,500 died. Joseph Stalin's desire for revenge against Franco was frustrated at the Potsdam Conference in July 1945, when his attempt to make an Allied invasion of Spain the conference's first order of business was rejected by Harry Truman and Winston Churchill. War weary and unwilling to continue the conflict, Truman and Churchill persuaded Stalin to instead settle for a full trade embargo against Spain.

8. Spain German attack of Gibraltar event, and adding event 7 after that. Morocco claims.
Operation Felix
Main article: Operation Felix
See also: Military history of Gibraltar during World War II
Before Hendaye, there had been Spanish-German planning for an attack, from Spain, upon the British territory of Gibraltar which was, and is, a British dependency and military base. At the time, Gibraltar was important for control of the western exit from the Mediterranean and the sea routes to the Suez Canal and Middle East, as well as Atlantic patrols.
The Germans also appreciated the strategic importance of north-west Africa for bases and as a route for any future American involvement. Therefore, the plans included the occupation of the region by substantial German forces, to forestall any future Allied invasion attempt.
The plan, Operation Felix, was in detailed form before the negotiations failed at Hendaye. By March 1941, military resources were being ear-marked for Barbarossa and the Soviet Union. Operation Felix-Heinrich was an amended form of Felix that would be invoked once certain objectives in Russia had been achieved. In the event, these conditions were not fulfilled and Franco still held back from entering the war.[6]
After the war, Field Marshal Wilhelm Keitel said: "Instead of attacking Russia, we should have strangled the British Empire by closing the Mediterranean. The first step in the operation would have been the conquest of Gibraltar. That was another great opportunity we missed."[7] If that had succeeded, Hermann Göring proposed that Germany would "... offer Britain the right to resume peaceful traffic through the Mediterranean if she came to terms with Germany and joined us in a war against Russia".[6]
As the war progressed and the tide turned against the Axis, the Germans planned for the event of an Allied attack through Spain. There were three successive plans, progressively less aggressive as German capability waned:

9. Attack and partition of switzerland event.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Tannenbaum

10. Add E3 map 1000+ provinces in patch(when its finished)

11. Every partisans nations have their own flag and generals.

12. More partisan events

13. Possibility that you can choose to play with some nation partisans in battle scenarios and in scenarios.

Why not at a "Scorch the earth" option like in Aod (Was it in AoD? I'm not sure...). This would allow the player to manuelle do is. If he don't want to destroy the infrastructure of a province, he shouldn't have to do it. But if he do it... It would make it harder for the enemies. And the player could do it 5 years after the occupation of the province or in her home provinces. So he could stop the fast march of the enemies.

A lot of people have asked for this, but apparently they won't implement it. A shame, because it makes Barbarossa much more interesting :)

If he don't want to destroy the infrastructure of a province, he shouldn't have to do it.
This of course leads to a question: Why should a retreating player not want to destroy infrastructure that will only benefit his enemy? I can't think of any historical examples, presumably because if it's desirable for you to keep infrastructure intact until you recapture the province, then it is likewise desirable for your enemy to destroy it before he retreats; so if you won't blow up those bridges, he will.

The only exception I can think of is a civil war, but this didn't apply to China, and I know too little about Spain to say anything about their civil war.

1. Air transported divisions - not paratroop divisions that can de dropped into a province, but flown in to support a proper airborne assault. This could potentially make airborne drops a far greater threat.

2. A 'buy & sell arms' option where all tanks, artillery, aircraft, etc, are able to be sold or purchased by the player in a qauntity other than brigade or division size. In other words, if I'm playing as Romania, and buying a complete armoured division from Germany is far too expensive for me to ever do, I have the option of buying 10 or 20 or 30 tanks at a time. These newly purchased tanks could then be placed into some (hypothetical) 'forces pool', and then when I've enough tanks to form a brigade or division I can group them together, and hey presto! This would be a very nice option for smaller and less wealthy nations. This shouldn't apply to infantry or 'foot' divisions, however. The idea of selling an infantry division strikes me as silly.

2B). Consolidating armoured brigades into armoured divisions. It's simple; if I've 3 or 4 armoured brigades floating about, I'd like to be able to detach them from their parent division and group them together. This isn't my idea, it belongs to Gort11, but it's a good one.

3. A chart that better illustrates the impact of convoy raiding upon enemy stocks of oil, energy, raw materials, etc. For example; you've sunk 1,200 oil, 2,500 energy, 675 rare materials and so on & so forth. Perhaps it could be presented in weekly or monthly intelligence briefings similar to the casualty stats as well as a chart in the statistics folder?

4. The ability to offer non-aggression pacts of greater duration. As it is, I think the length of a non-aggression pacts is 18 months, but perhaps when offering a non-aggression pact the player could be given a few different options, let's say, 18 months, 2 years, 3 years, etc? This may be of great value.

5. Soviet–Japanese Neutrality Pact Event.
I can see that having huge benefits to both Japan & Russia, as well as creating major headaches for others. I think it's a must.

6. Designated ports of supply.
I want the option of being able to quickly & easily change which port my armies are being supplied from. It's only logical that if my armies are off fighting in some far-flung location then I'm going to use the nearest possible port to supply them.

7. An expanded cabinet, with the possible inclusions of agricultural & labour ministers, among others.

8. A proper chain of command with HQ's at army group, army and corps level, without the need of the commanding general to be directly involved in battle to gain experience from it. Basically, the HoI3 system, which is the only thing I actually liked about that game :p

9. More provinces in North Africa if possible. North Africa is one of the most engaging and enjoyable theatres in DH, but it suffers a little from not having enough provinces.

10. German & Italian generals who commanded in the Spanish Civil War to retain the experience and skills they gained from it.

11. Greater emphasis & detail given to partisan generals, with perhaps hand-drawn portraits & regionally accurate names. As they are, I find partisans hard to take seriously. Not just because they're faceless but when I see a General Draxley-Winsdor-Smith leading a rebel brigade in the nether regions of Russia, I can't help but chuckle a bit. This idea, or indeed, an improvement upon it, might just add a bit more flavour to our partisan friends.

And I think that might be it. For now ;)

Regarding infra-destruction after occupation-discussion: The best solution imo would be to use a non-linear function to model it. Increases realism, see above mentioned arguments and references. Now it is infra*.5, which is nonsensical.

What about: infralevel after occupation: infra-(infra*decayfactor)^2 (infra between .1 and 1)

lets set the decayfactor at .5.
Infra=1 (ie 100%): 1- (1*.5)^2=.75
Infra=.5 (ie 50%): .5- (.5*.5)^2=.4375
Infra=.1 (ie 10%): .1- (.1*.5)^2=.0975

This reflects that infra is harder to destroy the less advanced it is (just try to destroy a dirtroad!).
How to incorporate battle destruction: just make the decayfactor a function of batte duration with max at .9. Which would mean that you can never destroy a 100% province beyond 19%infra, and a 10%province never beyond 9.19%. Min at 0 (no destruction of no battle), or very low, like .2, so there is a little destruction even with no battle.

The ability to change orders for air units during battle. Not have them change missions during battle, just change orders. I hate having my air units ground supporting a battle that's already won, but something else takes my attention away before the 5 hours is up that I have to wait for their mission to conclude before I can change orders.

Like how you can give move orders to units that are reorganizing, or support attack orders, and they begin those missions after their reorganization period is ended. Your air units would rebase, or switch to ground attack, or whatever after their current mission ended.

Since in DH you can only launch amphibious assaults from one sea province, I'd like a mouseover info for the beach icon that tells me which sea province that is. In province.csv there's only a column "port seazone", I assume that's the one that also applies to beaches, but even some port icons are wrongly positioned so at peace there's no way to know for certain where to invade from.

Personal wish(ful thinking), listed by priority:

Gameplay
  • To hit the airplanes when bombing airfields
  • Resources output proportional to infrastructures
  • New tech teams parameter: Location
  • Construct buildings in allied provinces
  • New "Territorial Pride" combat modifier. fighting over national territory should get a positive combat modifier. (Either they are defending national territory or attacking a national province)
  • Add new 'Tropical' climate. To allow us to reflect monsoon seasons in China esp.
  • Give new orders to units before the rest time is over. The ability to give a unit a new order if it's still resting from it's previous combat that can't be started until after that period has ended. This improvement would make the gameplay much more fluent.
  • Naval shore bombardment mission should damage in the targeted province: coastal defenses, land forts, airfields, land units. Coastal defenses should damage ships which are performing shore bombardment or amphibious assault on a province.
  • Diminishing returns for bombings

Modding

  • Export to misc infra damage after province control change
  • oil_to_rare_materials command
  • command = addclaim area/region instead of just provinces. Same for removeclaim, addcore and removecore
  • Add attachment_preferences section to AI files to instruct what brigade to use with what division
  • New air AI parameters. Target (country, area, region, ignore) parameters for the air_marshal section would be great.

Cosmetics

  • Get the generals names under the units back from HOI1
  • Battle outliner that shows battle advancements right on the map with percentages like in hoi3. It would be enabled/disabled as an in game option
  • Make prioritize/reinforce/upgrade/disband buttons visible when you have more than one corp selected
  • Automatic flag/name changes according to ideology a la Vicky.
  • Add pop-up notification when new a tech team is available. Like Skoda being available in 1939 for Germany > Gets pop-up notification on Jan 1 1939.
  • Color-codded tool-tips for minister traits (green = positive, red = negative)
  • Don't show enemy AI movement
  • When selecting a unit and putting the pointer over a province, we get a tooltip "we estimate that we can arrive here in x/x/19xx", useful to decide where to retreat/waypoint the units

Above all a split between manpower and weapons where a division is an empy shell to which you can attach modules as:

2) small arms
3) artillery
4) trucks
5) etc.

All the above (with the exception of soldiers) can be traded as in real life

You need to realize this is a simple patch we are talking about (If there is any patch, btw).
What you are asking for is a new game we neither have the money nor the resources to create.
I'm not saying I wouldn't like it, though. But we will in the real world.
I'm not in a position to assess if your list above is for a patch (if any) or for a new game as well as I'm not in a position to assess if my desire is for a patch or not.

This can actually be done similar to HoI 3. Just release the limit of brigades for all units (make it totally moddable), so divisions would be just schemes for unit types and brigades would be components.

But brigades contain people/soldiers and hardware (weapons). That should be split so when you sell a division or a brigade actually you sell just hardware

Just splitting strength into materiel strength and manpower strength would quite an improvement. If brigades then also had their own materiel and manpower strength, this would be a mighty fine approximation of reality.
