If you managed to get a completely new forum profile to go with your Paradox Account, the solution is to simply create a new account and make sure you verify the ownership of the correct old forum account this time. If you now locked your email address to a Paradox Account tied to an empty forum profile, simply go to accounts.paradoxplaza.com and change the email of your account.

Then you create a new account using the email address, making sure that when it asks you for the forum name, you put your old forum nick and password in there!. You should even get a preview showing you exactly what your account is going to look like before confirming. Make sure everything looks right, including forum nick, post count and game registrations before completing!

No no, this is for people who managed to create completely blank profiles. Forum badges that weren't granted by actually redeeming a CD key did not get transferred automatically and will need some extra work. This includes, but is not limited to the icons for: EUIV pre-order, HoI2 beta, Vic2 Beta, 500k and more.
