Is there any mod that can get rid of this? Now my nobles (Kinsman/women, Uncles, Aunts, Cousins) are dying at 40 and 49, and they're married and has children; yet they're dying too.
Natural Death is what the game also tends to use to cull the amount of courtiers the game has to keep track of. While a character dying at the age of 49 of "natural causes" is extremely rare, I do believe that the game will only pull the "natural causes" card after the individual is over age 50, anything less is the game trying to save on CPU."Died a natural death" just means they died of old age. "Died of poor health" means they failed a random health check, which doesn't necessarily mean that their health was artificially reduced due to a crowded court, it can happen because something else was reducing their health or just because they got unlucky. It's basically bullshit and I wish it wasn't in the game, but that's how it works.
lol I never thought about the fact that I had to feed everyone in my court. That really puts an interesting twist to how I see my game now. Though I've never hit 100, much less 1000, I've hovered in the 50s often enough, but typically once I go over 30 I open up the character finder window, look who's in my court and start to empty it. Prisoners will die, bachelors will get shipped off and a few lucky ones will get a bishopricYeah, a court of hundreds/upwards of a thousand would be so incredibly expensive! That's a lot of pies being baked every day, after all.
