I know just a bit more. Hydro started selling heavy water to other countries. Maybe there is a purchase log online. The reason Norway took the right to take companies; Hydro in particular was that Hydro worked with the Nazis during the war. Hydro were also richer (if not then not too far from) then Norway so it would serve the people and country better under the state. The sale of heavy water continued until the 80's. The sabotage of the plant is more known and the info online is plentiful. Here's a recent short series about it if you're interested in it: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3280150/?ref_=nv_sr_3
I haven't tested yet, but is it possible for countries to get the heavy water TT if they capture Norway or Hønefoss?

Also, I believe Hærens Forskningsinstitutt deserves the rocket component since they were part of developing the penguin missile.
After some research that I did, have concluded that a event that inludes Germany, France and Norway, will gives you the decision in which you want to sell the Heavy water (Germany or France) It would be possible. As a result of event It could be a little bonus to research or bonus production to nuclear plants or both of them... What did you think?

There are times like these that I wish I was more of a history nerd and less of a gamer so I could be more helpful. On the other hand I'm not lacking in making suggestions. I've been brainstorming this subject. The heavy water facility is a unique resource in the 30's as no other country have the need to produce their own since Norway have made the trouble of doing so.The uniqueness ends in 41 or 42 when the major powers starts producing their own. I was thinking if every European country and western nation could have the choice to purchase the water through events. It would perhaps be better if only a few likely countries would have the AI to sometimes buy it, like the ones who historically bought. I was thinking the events could work that the buyers gets a small research bonus for industry and secret tech if it's possible to be exact. Preferably only to nuclear research but that's not possible, right? Blueprints would be too strong. Since Hydro is producing so small quantities of the water, the purchase event should last for months. Norway shouldn't have any say in who Hydro sells to nor get any profits since Hydro is a private company.

I have an idea on how to simulate the production of heavy water on home soil. When a country reaches the nuclear tech of around 41-42 standard, then the nation will have the decision to start it. The choice could include how much industry they will use to produce it. 1, 5, 10, 15 etc. The off-map use of IC could last for months. 6 months, perhaps? Then the choice to stop, continue or change the amount could appear like with the tax and minimal wage decision. The more heavy water is produced, the more research bonus. If the bonus can't be directly targeted to nuclear, then a blueprint could be given as to not make the heavy water production so OP in researching other industry or secret techs. Or worse. All kinds if it can't be directed at all.

If this is implemented then the heavy water TT could be removed. I don't think the team is that damaging if any of the other great powers can get their hands on it as it is only slightly better than their nuclear TT. I can't imagine the Norwegian AI would end up using it to its full potential. It's a very strong team for a Nor player, but perhaps it could stay to let the player have some fun? The reactor in Hønefoss could also be removed but it's harmless, right? A small event in 34 or 35 announcing the finished construction of the plant and adding the reactor to the map would be in order.

That's all of it on that topic unless I forgot something. I tend to forget things. My short term memory is not the best. I don't take note of some things because I think that I should obviously remember something so important but then end up forgetting anyway. I should take more notes. I quickly edited my last posts when I made them and you may have missed it. Be sure to check em out.

I have a few things I wanted to say that I forgot. I like how there are similarities between Hellas and Norway. I assume Hellas uses boats to get around as well judging from the provinces of low infrastructure. Naval tech for instance is awfully close but other techs seems awfully out of date. Is this correct? I get the impression that Hellas was a poor country similar to Norway. You can do what I did and transfer the naval doctrine tech given in the official 1914 scenario. It's hard to find out what kind of doctrine tech a country had historically but since the scenario is official you can take the better tech until you find out more. It's also safe to assume that you have 1924 basic hospital as well. I few tech given to Norway are questionable, such as tanks. I let them stay as a relic. Hellas could probably make a simple tank if they wanted to so it's not unreasonable to give them something basic. The TTs also feel a little weak. Even the weapon company is. The reason I gave Kongsberg level 5 was that I merged the ammunition factory team with it, which was level 5.

I have come to love the equipment purchases and there was none. Didn't Hellas buy anything in the 30's and so on? That reminds me. I came up with a method to figure out the price for equipment. The default old equipment purchase decision cost 2000 money so you can calculate from that. 12 planes bought = 240 money. I find 2000 for old equipment to be very expensive. The events are more reasonable but I have to use all the money I earn to afford them all so a slash in prices would be nice. Could supplies be removed from the purchases as well? Since you work with Italy right now I have a little trivia for you. The Caprino planes were bought using stockfish money and to save the trade between them. The Caprinos were called "stockfish planes" because of that. Their shabby quality may be part of the reason as well. I suppose some supplies in that purchase event make some sense.

I thought the decision of war or to let Italy use your islands as bases to be lacking in info and possibly decisions. Were it an ultimatum from Italy? If not, what if you could say no and lose relation with them and risking the possibility of a declaration of war from Italy in response later?

Would you consider adding the Winter Olympics? CORE for Arsenal of Democracy have them implemented.

I didn't read the previous pages, so maybe someone already pointed these two bugs out:
Li Zongren (ID: 55019) in the China ministers file constantly generates error messages because of a wrong personality.
The last two fighter techs generate an endless update cycle, so Stealth fighter (Fighter-18) gets upgraded to Fifth Generation Supersonic Turbojet Multi-Role Fighter (Fighter-19), which then again gets "upgraded" to Stealth fighter (Fighter-18) and so on.

I have started playing alt history.

Looking more closely, it seems like Italy is indeed giving Hellas an ultimatum.
I find the Kerkyra province bothersome. It would be nice it it didn't exist and would rather be part of the nearest provinces.
The Plastiras regime purge gives -7 in dissent?
I looked a bit at the TTs in AoD. I couldn't see anything too different from what you're using. However, one team caught my attention. What is OASA?
The government in exile was pretty cool. It reminds my of my own thoughts about Reichskommissariat Norwegen. How come it isn't in the game? I figured that the government in exile needs a territory and Jan Mayen could be it if it were added to the game. This would be a gargantuan task and I couldn't possible ask you to do this. This is something the DH team should have added.
About the organisation penalty of Norway. Could it be notified by an event describing the army order (hærordningen) of 1933? The confirm button could say: A small but good army. This order was basically another move towards demobilization.
Inspired by your strikes events, Menstadslaget is a fitting event. The result could be a slider move towards demobilization. The army order of 1933 could also have this effect now that I think about it. The Nygaardsvold government took the initiative to improve the neutrality defense and cooperated with the opposition in parliament to increase the defense budget in autumn of 1936. This could be a slider movement back to mobilization.

Hi. This is the first time I've posted in this thread, but I have been playing this mod for awhile. Great work you've done with it! :)

I do however have one little issue. I haven't gone through the entire thread, so I don't know if this has already been talked about.

When playing as Germany starting from the 1933 scenario, while it war with France and Britain, the Fall Gelb decision becomes available, which I know is meant to declare war on the Low Countries due to it being in normal Darkest Hour. In the mod however, the decision and it's accompanying event uses Fall Gelb images, but Offensive Chit text and effects. Doing the event in this state seems to give Germany the effects of the Offensive Chit permanently, that can stack with the actual Offensive Chit decision. I don't know if this is a bug or a thing from that the mod does differently from the base game, but I wanted to at least ask.

Thanks in advance.

*EDIT* Saving the game after performing the decision and then loading it up again crashes the game, so I am starting to think it may in fact be a bug.

So, you are saying that it is impossible right now to do a historical play-through with Germany? I just wanted to start such a game, but you're bug report left me worried.

I have done some more testing since I made my previous post. Bug is present in '36 and '39 starting scenarios aswell, with the same results, leaving the save unusable. I have not tested if there is any difference in stability if the decision is simply not used, and I won't be able to try it out until tomorrow unless someone beats me to the punch.
