@Crispin, if the game continues to crash from a save game restart then go back another year and try and see if that fixes it. I have seen problems coming from France being Comm. China turning Fasist in early 30's. Also, always save the game in 33, exit out, and then start savegame, i think this resets the random numbers coming from the cpu and this in turn, gives a more historical and less crashing game. Also I noticed when I play this mod, I get a new unique autosave everymonth, but playing regular darkest hour I just get the one called autosave. Anyone know why?

I think that's enabled for easier bug reporting. Here's how to change it....

Look for this line in your misc file and change it to this:

# Use new auto-save file format: AutoSave_Country_Year_Month_Day.eug. 1 - Enabled, 0 - Disabled.

Oh that's right. I'd really love to see that changed. Sometimes I play as Greece or Yugo and can sometimes hold off the Axis, but I'm doomed because I get no relief from the Soviet Union who remains at peace with Germany.

That last tip reminds me of my brief foray into Victoria 2 many years ago, having run a single entire game all at once as Japan. The population numbers were nutz, something like a 400% increase from the beginning of the game and fully one quarter of the population conscripted for the military. I had conscription administrators in the most populated provinces and added more of the same as soon as the social techs unlocked, and had full industrial agriculture and resources techs well before 1900. I do not believe I would have seen the same numbers if I let the game reload a dozen times during that run.

I was able to run two different Italy games, and one Japan until 1940 without hiccups. While I've run three different Romania games, all freezes roughly around 1938. I have no idea why, the only thing I was able to see that was different in the world was in all my Romania games Cyprus rebelled in 1937(?). And when the game freezes it's never the same event that fires just before freezing or the same date.

Sounds like an incomplete download. Just download the file to your desktop, extract/unzip it, and move it into your mods folder.

You can add Dr Bob's AI improvements to it, but make sure you get the base mod working first.

When the uprising begins in Cyprus, the game crashes. What does Cyprus have between the provinces of 5562 kilometers, it’s not normal for Cyprus to break the game.

Hi all, I have put in an event if UK ai then white peace with cyprus. I was also thinking of putting a garr. in there.

I have not seen a post from El morte on the SS units upgrade issue. I have worked on it some and add +1 to hard/soft att. on SS upgrade. I just started on Leib. Will add others.

Worked on Ger tech research and a couple others. I removed some minor countries from mob. events. I hope this will speed up the game.

I will be posting a minor update within a day or 2. Cheers!

HI Pasha, No, not really. It is a minor update but the main changes were made to Barb. and i am curious if Ger. gets most of it's troops in line to invade Sov. Keep an eye on Sino/Jap war, i think I increased the peace treaty % for japan to offer but i have not seen the ai do it. Also, is China hanging on longer? I did increase Ger. org some and lowered it for Sov. I did increase morale some for Manpower land doc.

HI Bacillus, I don't know anything about the new decisions like taxes, they may just fire for majors, i don't know. i do see them in 34, when i play as Ger.

Germany has become very weak. The USSR and Manchuria have the wrong border and it makes peace only with Japan and its old vassals (Menjiang and Manchuria)

Nice mod! but btw is this mod in someway compatible with Events Cheat Mod? i want to know how to use new things like Air Refueling, Helicopter, etc. Also want to test a lot of new stuff since its really a first time i know this mod.
