Made this little sketch in response to a suggestion, that there should be a religious crisis.
Maybe it deserves its own little post.

We have recieved information, that the cult calling itself "The pursuit of the last cycle" has found a new -until now undiscovered- system. The members of the cult gave the system a simple name. It seems they have found their "Salvation".

The terror attacks executed by "The pursuit of the last cycle" have reached an all time high. All over the galaxy, members of the cult are stealing valuable artifacts and kidnapping people with mostly B, A or S class ESP scores. It seems all the artefacts and hostages are brought to the mysterious System called "Salvation".
The galactic community allready discusses to assemble a strike force and attack the cult directly, for a lot of the cults high ranking members have taken residents in "Salvation", hiding there and coordinating something nefarious.
We should still send independent operatives to the System and gather more information. Who knows how long the galactice community will take to make a meaningfull decision.

Our operatives have gathered some very unsetteling information regarding "Salvation". The black hole in its center is actually a wormhole. Psyonic readers sense immensly powerfull energy fields surrounding the wormhole. The energy fields themselfs are comming from seemingly nowhere. First sience reports suggest, the field hinders every movement through the wormhole regardless from which side.
Our operatives also report that "the persuit of the last cycle" is preparing for what can only be dicribed as a grand diabolic ritual.

"The pursuit of the last cycle" has done it. The galactice community could not act fast enough and our operatives could not stop the ritual. As the ritual concludes the energy field surrounding the wormhole is chattered. All over the galaxy people gifted with psyonic powers and entire hiveminds report an immense feeling of dread as a psyonic wave originating from the wormhole itself, sweps over the galaxy. Everybody affected seems to have sensed a powerfull psyonic entity, overshadowing every psionic potential recorded until now.
In addition we have lost all contact to our operatives still present in "Salvation". First rudimentary live readings of the system were unsuccessful. We must assume that everybody present in the System during the finale of the ritual is dead, friend or fow.
After the first shock has subsided a single message is brodcasted from the other side of the wurmhole, reaching into every corner of the galaxy.
"Well done my faithful servants. I am free again. Hear the words of the avatar of the end of the cycle, its one and only child "Chakr'Ka'Ant".
You dont know what galaxy you live in. You are ignorant to your own inevitable demise. I have seen Empires rise and fall, passed away trough hedonism or sweped aside by powers far greater then you could ever imagine, lurking behind the vail. You are doomed to be part of an endless cycle, that no species can escape by its own design. But i can free you. I can end the cycle. I can bring you power through will, freedome though pain, every soul a psionic. I promise you the fusion of every thought and emotion into one single entity, to conquer this galaxy and every realm beyond, to conquer the cycle, to end the cycle.
From now on i shall present you with two choices. Submit to me and serve me, so you can inherit the gift, that i want to craft for you with great care... Or stand in my way and be eradicated as i will not tolerate even one single soul, that must be so blinde and ignorant to believe one on its own can outwit the cosmic constant you call entropy!"
The Galaxy seems unsure how to respond to this threat, that has not fully revealed itself yet. What will we do?
