So, at present there's a whole host of alerts up at the top, and the icons don't always suggest how serious the alert is.
What I want to suggest is that the alerts be grouped - that is, placed in different physical places.
The primary sub-categories I want to see are:
1) alerts which need a response - like someone sending you a diplomatic envoy, or an anomaly being located
2) feedback to your actions - like someone answering your diplomatic envoy, or debris analyzed, or the like
3) ongoing conditions - like having too many core worlds, or having a resource shortfall
Personally it would help me sort through the pings a lot better, especially in multiplayer.
Honestly I feel like maybe ongoing conditions should be located on the left side to distinguish them more dramatically from actual one-time events, and the other two categories should be placed in two rows at the top. But really almost any sort of streamlining/separation would be preferable. I hate that someone asking me for a trade deal looks almost identical to someone answering my trade deal, for example.
