Once again a pleasure to introduce myself to you all! I go by the name of Rageair here on the forums, and as Rageair1 on YouTube.
Since the beginning of December 2013 I've been actively updating my 'Alea Iacta Est' Let's Play in a forum thread in the Crusader Kings 2 AAR forum. HERE'S a link for anyone interested! I'm now done with the Crusader Kings 2 part of the campaign, and thus I'm starting a new thread here!
The concept behind the 'Alea Iacta Est' campaign is to let the Randomize Character (or in the case of EU4 - the Random Nation button!) decide who we play as. When I decided upon this, I was inspired by entertaining threads such as 'A Random Game' by Tnick0225 and 'Random World Order' by CatKnight.
I've always been more interested in seeing the gameworld evolve rather than play to create super-empires, which makes this kind of style perfect for me. If you've ever watched and/or read a Megacampaign before you know that the player tends to have to do heavy modding/breaking up of his/her realm to keep things interesting in the conversion. This playstyle allows me to avoid that!
To keep up my interest in a prolonged game throughout the entire timeline of CK2 AND EU4 (and eventually V2 if a converter is released) I decided upon making it a video Let's Play. The Crusader Kings 2 campaign resulted in a whooping 45 episodes, that you can find on my YouTube channel if you're interested!
This video let's play will hopefully be of interest to anyone who enjoys watching a world evolve, with limited but decisive player involvement!
In the EU4 part I limit my stay in any one place to two 35-45 minute sessions, so that I do not get too attached to any one nation. When you're playing like this, you're essentially playing multiplayer against yourself. This means that I need to think about the consequences my actions will have upon the world every time I do something.
I also label my videos so that viewers can clearly gauge what area/nation the video will cover. This makes it easy for you to find out if I've played as any nation or in any area that you find interesting, or perhaps that is close to your heart.
I've long been a fan of video lets plays, especially Paradox Let's Plays by such YouTube personalities such as Arumba, Kailvin, FlyingMcGuffin amongst others. I've amateurishly attempted to make videos before, but without much luck as I've not been able to harness the technical aspect of proper video-making in the way in which I currently have. I may also be immature at times, I try to keep it down though. Also despite my nickname, I am not prone to raging although I can get annoyed by the AI sometimes.
I'm still relatively fresh off the boat, and my spoken english is not perfect. But I love what I do, and I hope to get better with time, so please leave comments or suggestions on what I can do to improve in my future endeavours!

The final CK2 Report video as well as the conversion video, where you can find out, in a very basic way, how the world came to be.
