[AJJW] Multiplayer is unplayable

Single player isn't the worst right now slow but playable (other then the whole water level problem on mac), multiplayer refuses to work either the game isn't found or the other players go out of sync after 1-5 years, now I know that cross-platform multiplayer doesn't work (which this should be fixed, I can live it but it seems ridiculous such a known problem has not been fixed yet) so I use parallels, normally it works fine but, after the recent patch these problems started to occur.
I apologize if I sound demanding, I am just little frustrated.

We have done some MP testing and have been able to play for 10-20 years without any issues. We do have the occasional out of synch, which we are looking into. But all in all it seems to work quite fine at the moment.

What OS do you use?
How many players are you in total?
Which DLC does the host have?
Which DLC does the clients have?
Are you playing any specific characters?

Provide as much details as possible, so that we can look into it.

Macintosh however as stated before I use parallels (which is a virtual machine to simulate windows)

We both own the same DLCs, which is all of them expect the songs.
We've been character creating which could have something to do with it.
