Hello everyone, returning to the game after a hiatus with a few questions.
1) Unless I am missing something is there still no way to tell a wing which aircraft variants to use as you can do with land divisions? Eg. I want to be a US player and develop long range variants for pacific use and shorter for the ETO.
2) If no, has this been mentioned/ruled out by the dev team?

Thanks everyone.

I have the same question as OP 1). As in, I have two different variants of the 1940 model fighter. One has longer range for naval zones superiority, the other is faster and with upgraded guns for smaller land areas. But I can't find a way to designate specific models to specific wings?
