I have 12 aircraft divisions commanded by an air marshall. In the same area are 8 infantry divisions commanded by a general. When the british launch a tactical bombing mission in this area my planes intercept them (there are not set to intercept) and air combat starts. So far so good, but when I look at my defence effectivity I see a large stacking penalty of -64 percent. Without troops in the area the stacking penalty is gone. It seems as if the ground forces are added to the air forces for stacking penalty calculation, but only the air marshalls command ability counts. This is a big problem, because fighters with intercept missions are totally useless against enemy aircrafts near the frontline.
