With BBA aircraft now have 4 primary stats that regard to planes engaging each other

-Speed
-Agility
-Air Attack
-Air Defense

Now i'v done a few games + some hard testing to try and figure out what relationship to each other are with these stats but it appears to be more confusing then I thought.

Speed and Agility seem clearly to be secondary stats that you have very little control over and dont seem to influence combat capabilities unless your at the extreme ends of stats. I find having averageish stats in agility and speed to have a neutral effect on combat performance While having high speed and agility does nothing? On the other hand if you have really low agility or really low speed (more like both are going to be low due to how modifiers work) then you suffer greatly on losses

Air Attack and Air Defense seem to have a more defined relationship to each other. Higher air attack cause more kills and having more air attack then air defense increases air kill consistency. The reverse happens when air defense surpasses Air attack where kills are mitigated and less consistent.

So this rounds off to my question I have. One is what on earth is speed and agility actually doing? Is it a percent based effect relative to the enemies speed and agility? It seems like even if I try to max out speed and agility I get absolutely no combat performance bonus but in the reverse when I tank agility to almost 0 and have absolutely no speed, even with good armor and attack power but plane fails to do anything!

I see now. With how few ways to interact with speed/agility it wouldnt matter much which explains when I have just okish agility/speed it feels like nothing changes but when I try to min speed or agility I get absolutely face busted.
