I was playing Germany and had some "intensive discussions" with the SU in 1944 (OK, I invaded them with 250 Divisions). Due to the course of the game I had some naval resources at this time and so I placed a fleet of 4 CVs, 5 BBs and the corresponding DD/CL screen in the Baltic sea. Furthermore I had some 600+ land based fighters on Air superiority mission there (could use Gotland, so the coverage was very good). Radar surveillance was 100 %.
The only result was dozens of “nonsense-battles” between SU land based naval bombers (up to 150 SU naval bombers were involved) and my fleet and/or my convoys. “Nonsense-battles” because nobody lost anything. I didn’t lose a single convoy, while the SU didn’t lost a single plane.
Is this really intended?
