There is probably a thread for this, but 89 pages of threads to search would take time.

Would it be possible for air units, that lose an air battle 2 provinces into enemy territory, to 'retreat' towards friendly territory? I know it is a little tricky to fix.

I performed an Air Sweep deep into GER territory as the SOV. Unfortunately, I was tired, and used a stack of 9 SOV basic dive bombers. Well, we lost against the 12+ Bf+Me109's and then started a Grand Tour of the Third Riech. I don't think we landed in Berlin but we still saw most of Northern Germany - and used it as a temp base while we tried to get home. (As SOV, the main front was the old GER-POL border at the time since I was on the offensive for a bit). Anyway, the ENG AI had taken Aarhus, and we eventually retreated up there. Was kinda funny, since my Dives kept rebasing on their own, so I did not have much control for this 'event'. Eventually, I sent a small LTG/commanded squadron of three I-16 to help get my dives home. :)

It sure enlivened the evening, heh!
