To instantly change the shape of the campaign in China, three airdrops are ordered that will effectively extend the northern front to completely squeeze the Japanese.

The first landing is at Yucheng

Which the Japanese quickly try to counter

Apparently the battle for Tianjin was instantaneous

Shijiazuang is secured without a fight, but the battle for Tianjin begins...again?

And it's over, again.

And the defenders of Yucheng hold!

With the taking of Tianjin we also isolate Tangshan!

Attacking from two sides, Tangshan is quickly reduced.

And destroyed.

The defenders of Fuyang collapse quickly.

And Bradley is promoted as we lose at Qingdao.

The attack on Jinan also fails, and with it our attempt to link up the fronts.

Kaifeng is bombed mercilessly.

And Fuyang is secured! But by a single garrison division...

And Kaifeng is won.

And Fuyang is secured even more slightly...

Now Fuyang is secured.

And apparently we've secured Xinyang. At least that's what the message says.

NATIONALIST CHINA!!! Actually though it's the Guangxi Clique's fault! Good thing the Fourth Drop Corps got out just in time...

What the? Nationalist China is stealing your provinces, must be irritating, and it will certainly make your job in China much worse if you have to make sure that they don’t steal your provinces and send your forces back into strategic deployment… Something needs to be done.

Even though it has been a very long time past their point of efficiency, I'm still building industry for New York and Washington... If I had stopped at a sensible time, I'd have another drop group by now...

Two Drop Corps are dropped to at last connect the North China and Central China theatres.

The Central China Theatre pushes north.

Air units assist.

And the navy assists as well, in the only way it can: Delivering troops to the front line.

Battles rage all over China.

Stilwell wins at Jinan, connecting the theatres.

On the border with Nationalist China, the need to win quickly is ever more urgent...

And it looks like the Yellow River will be quickly reached.

Boy, a lot has happened since that Drop Corps was ordered to drop on Handan, four game-hours ago...

Kaifeng rages.
