Does anyone think that air combat is too fast in MP ?

For Example: By the time you click on your units they are already decimated or gone, there isn't a chance to retreat them, thus they get eliminated.

Try playing UK or USA when you have to fight all over the world.

By the time you move from one part of the world to the other part of the world your units are destroyed, or decimated to the point that you can not retreat them.

Answer: Pop up boxes NO I DO NOT THINK SO!

You get so many pop up boxes that you can't play the game.

Even if you were to get a pop up box you still have a response problem. By the time you click on retreat they get destroyed.

I would like to get a poll on this or at least some feedback from the community.

Yes - it is....

thousands of planes can get wiped off the map in one combat in a few seconds of play time..... one would assume the losing side would try and run ("fly") away faster.... this is probably a matter of implementing a higher loss threshold (i.e if the unit/stacks loses more than say 50 percent in air combat it retreats automatically)

hehe if the speed is higher than below normal... you got to have lightning reflexes to catch up... or else your planes with just go about their business...

The faster pace of naval and air combat is a real problem in multiplayer. Even running the game on slow it would be difficult or impossible for a player to micromanage such tasks.

In fact we've had our England players complain it's impossible to play the UK just because of needing to be in many places of the map all at the same time.
