hi
I have played eu1&2, hoi and viccy, and I could say that one of the biggest problems about paradox's games is the poor ai (well, relatively speaking. the other aspects of the game are really good, and the ai is simply not on the same level).
What I would be looking for is seeing that the WWII happens almost exactly as it happened without player intervention (such as playing as iraq or something). If the soviets start pushing the germans off at the right time seven times out of ten, then I would say that the game's ai is really good. (it is possible to make these with hard-coded events, but then that's not ai, its just scripts, which would probably not trigger if the player decides to be a major power and play ahistorically (say, holding germans off as france))
any ideas?
