I'm putting this in suggestions because I'm assuming it's WAD, but I think artifact wars are too frequent and the AI seems to rather declare them than other wars.
For example: I had a ruler who was Emperor of Britannia and most of Iberia and France. Catholics won crusade for Jerusalem and I was able to put my daughter on the throne. Somehow she loses a duchy (Ardun?), by faction or holy war, I'm not certain. She's allied with me. You'd think her priority would be to declare war for that duchy, but instead she attacks a much stronger realm in the kingdom of Arabia. Fair enough I guess, as she's gaining in domain. But surely her next declared war should be against the relatively weak duchy that is de jure part of her kingdom? No, instead she declares war on a kingdom that is much stronger than she is, for artifacts. This makes no sense IMO. The first order of business any AI ruler should take is to strengthen their realm.
