Map of Wild-East in April 1839
England is currently engaged in war against Burma, with hopes to strenghten and widen the border with Chinese, who they have been having uneasy relationship for quite some time now.
Attack against Burma was launched from two sides. Northen flank boasted over 30.000 soliders, while eastern front was bolsterd with over 50.000 men avaiable. Weakest point in English offence was the southern front that was almost non-existant, there wern't even enough men to protect Yeh form even the smallest Burma counter-attack. Considering that England high command ordered all troops to march as fast as possible, to avoid any Burma counter-attacks on the southern front.
- Operation commenced on the 2nd of April 1839-
Exactly two months later, English troops have occupied almost 56% of Burmans national territory. While the situation on the eastern and northen front couldn't be better, souther front has collapsed and cities in Yeh are under siege. Even according to the best scenario, English troops are unable to stop Yeh from falling to "evil" Burma hands...
Same time as war in Burma raged on, rahter nasty incidents lead England and China into war(July 1839). England was now in quite difficult position, because front against Chinese was rather vague and unprotected. General Jhonson of the Great English Navy proposed a bold plan, to invade China from four postions.
July 1839
Plan was to be executed as soon as possible. A large force of troops(40.000) were to be landed on the beaches of Ninguta(1) - area that holds the riches of coal. Next target was the stronghold of Tijanin(2), succesful beachead there would give oppurtunities to capture Beijin, captial of China. Third assault was to be concluded against fortresses in Guangzhou(3) and Shaozhou(4), forces in the west are unfortunately tied down by burma for quite some time, so everything relies on succesful landings. A Large group of Chinese irregulars(200.000 men) were spotted, few days ago, in Xiachang(5), moving fast towards English border.
Only time will tell if the planned invasions work out as planned and if the english can protect their border
October 1839
As expected, Chinese band of 200.000 men managed to trow out 10.000 english defenders from Dibrugath in just few days. Just when quick advance was in hand Chinese generals started to have trouble planning and executing succesful attacks . Men, delirious of pillaging and looting, started to disobey orders and slowed future advancement to crawl. This gave England time to gather troops and begin their own offensive.
General Jhonson reported that he had some hard time organizing all the ships for assaults, but promises to land in Ninguta this december .
January 1840
General Jhonson managed to land his forces in Ninguta as promised. 62.000 men and supplies were moved to Ninguta - New base of opertaions in Northen-China.
Fast movement caused panic among chinese generals and soliders, to make things even brighter, 30.000 chinese soliders were cought in pocket nearKhabarovsk.
