AI warleader keeps giving me provinces in peace deals

France (warleader) and I, Hansa, demolish Savoy (warleader) Austria and half the HRE. France peaces out with Wurzburg giving me their sole province. Then France peaces out with Austria giving me another 4 provinces. I do not have claims on any of the provinces and managed to rack up around 100 AE.

Is this WAD? Bug? or am I missing something here?

Also related to the above, fortunately for my game, ive managed to avoid coalitions for most of the game as the AI wont get into a coalition against me until they have around a -50 AE malus toward me. Is this because the diplo idea group + policies + 3* diplo advisor boosting my reputation prevents the "outraged" opinion of me?

Yup you can avoid this by clicking on the provinces you've occupied and assigning them to someone else

But what if don't want someone else to get them? I actually would have preferred for France to release nations instead of giving them to me

Not much you can do since you can't negotiate with minor belligerents. You can peace out with Austria and release some stuff, but that's about it.

damn well this needs a fix then as we both were minor belligerents. I didn't spend 10 years destroying Austria so the warleader, 3 province Savoy, could give me war reparations...
