All AI airunits seem to default to 20% strength before cancelling mission. Thats way too low, many times units lose more than 20% during a flight and get destroyed! I think a better value for bombing missions would be 70% and for airsuperiority 40%(I use those). I see this "destructionriskthreshold" in the AI files, but changing it doesn't seem to effect.

Secondly, some limit to the sending of bombers. Playing Germany, my helpful allies Japan, Italy, Romania etc. send their TAC bomber fleets to bombard groundunits in southern England and are shot to pieces without helping the war effort in any way. Something like "don't send bombers to bombard places where your ally hasn't attacked and you are not about to attack".

Thirdly, all AI bomberstacks should have at least one fighter unit, otherwise they don't last long. Also somehow make the AI think if there's any sense in attacking a place with bombers, like "if the enemy has 3x or more fighters in range, it's propably not wise to fly".

Lastly, disable the ability to rebase over enemy land territories not in operational range. It's rediculous when my Atlantic wall interceptors all the time face huge 0 org. stacks(and kill them because they have 0 org.) going to Mediterranean or back.
